Doha: As hot and humid weather continues to prevail in the country, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has shared few tips to remain healthy during this season.

In a short video posted on Twitter, QMD stated that health problems can occur during high levels of humidity in the air caused by rising temperatures in the summer. High humidity limits the body's ability to cool down the temperature through sweat.

To prevent this, QMD shared tips such as avoiding exposure to direct sunlight as well as doing sports activities in humid climates. Drinking enough fluids and staying in places with good ventilation are also some steps to ensure safety during this weather condition.

Meanwhile, no marine warning is issued today as sea heights range between 1-3 ft rising to 5-7 ft at times.

As per today's weather forecast temperature in Abusamra may reach a maximum of 44 degrees Celsius, while in Doha the maximum predicted is 38 degrees Celsius.
