very handy, thank you.
This Money Box Cube Activity is a great way of getting your students creative with some hands-on crafting.
It's fab for helping pupils develop their knowledge of maths, nets and shapes, all while practising their artistic skills too! It's really simple, students can colour in their box however they like, then they just cut, fold and stick to finish it off.
They can take their boxes home to save up their pocket money, or you could make a lovely display with all your pupils finished activity cube boxes - it's really up to you.
Fun, engaging and arty activities like this are fab for helping keep all your pupils engaged with their lessons. They're great as a break from book learning, especially if you've got any visual learners who respond better to artistic activities.
This Activity cube box is really easy to use. Just give it a quick download and print off as many copies as you need, and you're ready to go!
It comes with simple, clear instructions for use, and gives space for students to colour their boxes in and get as creative as they like.

A net is a diagram of what a 3d shape would look like if you were to open it up and lay it out flat. In the activity cube box above, the diagram is the net of a cube.
You can then fold these nets up to make the 3D shapes.
One 3D shape can have a few different possible nets - as long as when folded up it makes the shape without any spare sides, it's a net.
Being able to recognise shapes just from their nets is an important skill in maths, geometry and art, so it's useful if pupils can get a grasp of this early on.
